A New Review Of The Wolfen Lover from Euro-Reviews

I've been getting great feedback about my novella, The Wolfen Lover (Amira Press). I'm proud of this paranormal romance, and I hope you have a chance to read this new review from Euro-Reviews!

I'm posting the review here, but click on the bolded link to read it at Euro-Reviews

Michael is a royal Wolfen- human by day- wolf by night. When he was a young cub, vampires came one All Hallows Eve and destroyed most of his clan. He’s hated vampires since that fateful night and because of being orphaned, he’s never accepted his magical nature. He burns for revenge as much as me wants to mate. But there were only four cubs left from the slaughter, and Michael knew he couldn't stay. With each day he gets closer to the village where the vampires rule, the man angry, the wolf hunting.

Laina is a vampire princess like no other in her clan. Instead of hating the Wolfen, she’s been fascinated by them all her life. The Halloween night her parents destroyed a Wolfen clan, simply because they were magical, and to solidify their own power, she began to hate them. Only her royal heritage kept her from being exiled due to her odd behaviors, ideas and thoughts. One night she can’t stand it any longer and leaves her family to go in search of the Wolfen. She finds Michael and she waits for him to awaken and become human.

Though Michael knows he should kill Laina, he feels a connection with her like he has with no other. Even when he tells her he’s going to kill her entire clan she doesn’t disagree. But she doesn’t want him to fight, fearing he’ll be killed. On the night the lovers are found, Laina makes the only choice she can to save Michael. Even if it means going against everyone, she’ll protect him with her life.

Short, sexy, and a really good read. I was surprised that the full story could be put together like this with so few pages. Young lovers, with old souls.
Trials, victories, hate, love, desperation and completion all in under fifty pages.

Rating - 4/5
